ARTIGIANI 4.0 is a project promoted by the Lombardy Region and implemented by Upskill 4.0 with the aim of fostering the visibility and use of new technologies of 11 companies in Lombardy's great craft tradition.
The companies involved in the project represent the region's best manufacturing tradition: BertO, Bonacina 1889, CBS Serramenti Società Benefit, Cinelli Bicycles, Fabscarte, Fumagalli 1891, Laboratorio Paravicini, Adea by Laboratorio Lopane, Maiorino Shoes, Merli Marmi and Noah Guitars.
The goal of the acceleration project is to develop the brand of the companies involved through the creation of an original narrative of the business and product story, fostering and enhancing the dialogue with the final demand, focusing especially on the construction of experiences related to the product and the territory.
Each of these issues will be analyzed through a 12-month process, divided in the first half into visits and meetings with experts so that companies can develop strategies consistent with their own specifics.
In the second half of the acceleration path, these strategies will be supported by technological innovation projects consistent with the communication and promotion goals of individual companies.
Regione Lombardia has invested in the ARTIGIANI 4.0 project as part of a new narrative of the regional territory "Lombardia Style" officially launched at the 44th edition of the International Tourism Exchange by the Lombardy Region's Councillor for Tourism, Territorial Marketing and Fashion, Barbara Mazzali.
To do this, Upskill 4.0 was chosen as the accelerator, which has worked on more than one hundred innovation projects over the past four years, many of them aimed precisely at enhancing craftsmanship.
