The era of artificial intelligence has begun. The unprecedented deployment of Chat GPT in 2023 (100 million in just 2 months) has accelerated the market introduction of numerous innovative applications based on generative artificial intelligence. From research and development labs, we quickly moved to use by live users.
This is an unexpected technological acceleration even for experts in the field who were thinking of a more gradual and slow introduction.
But we are there and there is little point in worrying about it. In fact, in Upskill 4.0 we plan to do just the opposite and deal seriously with artificial intelligence. We believe that the best way to approach such a technological leap is to learn how to use this new tool thoughtfully and with an experimental approach.
We don't like to sit on the sidelines and decided to dedicate 2024 to understanding how artificial intelligence tools can help make the process related to Design Thinking, which is what we do every day, more effective. Experimenting with new tools that can enhance our processes and enable us to develop new ones has always been part of the way we work.
There are already many tools available today that can be applied to the five stages of Design Thinking.
We are sure that many more will be available in the coming months.
The point for us is to understand, by experimenting, which solutions are most useful, the conditions of validity (to what extent can artificial intelligence answers be trusted?) and how people, who remain the protagonists of the Design Thinking process, can amplify their creativity through these tools.
For us, it is the beginning of a new journey on which we will keep you updated by sharing with you what we learn on a daily basis.
