Never has Design Thinking shown its potential in giving quality to the dialogue between students and businesses, and in projecting companies into a future made up of innovation, as in the projects with the Mantua companies that participated in the Upskill Cariverona project.
It is a method that in a neat and precise way brings each reality to be repurposed in a different way and placed in a different pattern of play. "We had worked with students before, but this time it was really exciting. Everything was new, I've never come across such a well-prepared and professional team of young people, tutors who never backed down. There was a lot of empathy, definitely a human relationship that goes beyond the project," said Ester Luzzeri of Socks BC.
The design solutions for the four companies in Mantua.
Lebovitz - project manager Elena Masi with a team of Ca' Foscari University students.
A digitized system (a chatbot) to support order management and a new communication strategy for Lebovitz-branded products; a new wine label; and a proposal for events for the future tasting room.

Vanguard - project manager Michele Tagliavini with a team of students from ITS Servizi alle Imprese in Rome
3-Star Vanguard is the proposal designed by the team. It consists of 3 strategies to bring greater visibility to the brand and enrich what is already the special experience of customers. Starting with the Locanda's three iconic products, "The Kitchen Stars," the idea is to focus communication on Avant-Garde's excellences to make the brand more recognizable. And so the most popular dishes come to life and become real icons in the rooms of the Locanda and on its digital channels. The same channels will then feature Reel Taste, the new communication strategy based on interactive content promoted by the Locanda's own staff, to enter the chef's kitchen, the renowned wine cellar and behind the bar for a good drink. The user experience is further enhanced in the restaurant, where through the Vanguard Portal, customers can discover in-depth information about the Locanda's menu, learn about its local producers, and see what activities can be tried around Lake Garda.

Mutti - project manager Michele Tagliavini with a team of ITS Fitstic students.
Mutty Arts & Crafts Lab is designed as a true laboratory in which to immerse oneself in art and culture. With Mutty Identity, Mutty spaces will be enriched with digital screens and new touchpoints to tell its story and identity, as well as the philosophy behind the restaurant, bookstore and exhibition space. Mutty's offerings will also expand outside its spaces, where with the MuttyVerso it will be possible to teleport into the virtual gallery, a metaverse designed to tell the story of past, present and future exhibitions, with exclusive content for users who decide to explore the rooms and overcome different challenges.
