Sinek is a British entrepreneur and writer, best known for his 2009 Ted(X) Talk, to date the third most viewed in TED history.
Few people and companies can clearly communicate why they do what they do, that is, their "why." This is not about achieving a profitable business; it is related to one's purpose. The "why" represents the company's reason for being: why it exists and what purpose it wants to pursue. In the book Start with Why, it is explained how this concept is key to inspiring and motivating people, creating an emotional connection with customers and stakeholders, and building an authentic connection.
