Upskill Piemonte: second edition kicks off. Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT with Upskill 4.0 together again to support companies in innovation processes through the involvement of young ITS students.
The goal of the project is to reduce the youth-business skill mismatch by activating strategic, organizational and digital acceleration pathways for companies in the Biotechnology and Energy sectors in the Piedmont Region. UniCredit is a partner in the initiative.
Companies can submit expressions of interest by September 15, 2023: read the expression of interest.
After the great success of the first edition, which saw the involvement of four companies in the Agribusiness and Tourism and Hospitality sectors to create four innovative prototypes, Fondazione Sviluppo e Crescita CRT launches the second edition of Upskill Piemonte with a new expression of interest, to support the development of biotechnology and sustainable energy development in the Piedmont region.
The main objective of this new edition, in which UniCredit is a partner, is to propose innovation pathways to SMEs in the area that leverage the innovative methodologies adopted by Upskill 4.0 and the specialized skills of Istituti Tecnici Superiori (ITS), to reduce the risk of misalignment between the acquisition of professional skills by young new graduates and the demand of businesses for specific technical and professional skills.
Thanks to the support of the Upskill 4.0 team of professionals and researchers, who specialize in digital innovation and in the design and development of interventions for the regeneration of supply chains and territories, the selected companies and young technicians from ITS will be able to experiment together with the implementation of new products, processes or the implementation of adaptations of business models to new competitive contexts.
From October 2023 to January 2024, selected companies will have access to new innovation opportunities with the goal of developing a prototype solution to the design challenge.
