An experiential workshop to discover marble

Experience design and storytelling to enhance the brand

Since 1899, Merli Marmi has been a symbol of excellence in Voghera, the heart of the Oltrepò Pavese region. Specializing in the processing of marble, granite, and natural stone, the company carries out interior design projects in fine marble and creates unique, customized works of artisanal funerary art. Today, Merli Marmi faces a crucial challenge: how to position itself in an increasingly competitive global market, while managing to convey the value of a historic Made in Italy tradition that blends with technological innovation.

Experiences are a fundamental strategic lever for companies such as Merli Marmi, which need to increase their turnover and consolidate their position in the market, boosting the brand's authority.

The challenge: a new market repositioning

The goal of the company, which participated in the Artigiani 4.0 acceleration program, is to position itself in an increasingly competitive global market, succeeding in conveying the value of the historical tradition of Italian marble craftsmanship combined with technological innovation. The challenge that Merli Marmi has set itself is to communicate the essence of a company that preserves traditional craftsmanship but is also capable of responding to the challenges of a constantly evolving world in order to establish a new market position.

The solution: discover all the nuances of marble through experiences

Our team has devised a strategy for Merli Marmi that transforms marble processing into an immersive and distinctive experience.

The solution includes three experiential formats— Craft & Design, co-design meetings between artisans and professionals; Open Lab, workshops open to families and curious visitors; and Marble Workers for a Day, practical activities dedicated to students and young people—designed to bring the public closer to the cultural and artisanal value of the company.

To support this, a new website has been developed which, in addition to presenting projects and products, serves as an educational platform and booking platform for experiences, consolidating Merli Marmi as a benchmark in the sector, capable of blending tradition, innovation, and design.

For a company like Merli Marmi, offering a program of experiences and tours of its premises activates the potential to improve the positioning of its corporate image, strengthen brand loyalty, and promote its products and services more effectively.
