Transferring knowledge and creating usable prototypes
The workshops provided techniques, materials, and procedures; the young people brought method, prototyping, and contemporary languages. Daily interaction produced solutions ready for adoption and documentation to consolidate the exchange between generations over time.

Milan, capital of urban manufacturing
The program involved six companies representing the city's excellence: Fabscarte for artistic wallpaper, Laboratorio Lopane for vintage car restoration, INDIVIDUALS for inclusive tailor-made clothing, La Ciclistica Milano for tailor-made bicycles, Giassi Mosaico for artistic marble and enamel work, and Ganci Argenterie for solid silver artifacts. Over four months, ITS students worked alongside artisans in the companies to design and test communication, traceability, and training solutions.

From workshop knowledge to digital prototypes
Fabscarte opened its workshop with a digital tour that guides architects and customers through the various stages, textures, and techniques, transforming the story of wallpaper into an immersive experience. Laboratorio Lopane experimented with a virtual reality simulator to train workers in sheet metal processing and safely and progressively teach complex restoration techniques. La Ciclistica Milano introduced a digital bicycle ID card that collects configuration, maintenance, and usage tips, facilitating relationships, care, and value over time. INDIVIDUALS tested smart labels with QR codes to narrate material research, processes, and wearability. Giassi Mosaico has launched a digital portfolio with QR codes and augmented reality to show details and contexts of use of the works. Ganci Argenterie has defined a content and channel strategy to attract young audiences without losing authority. In all projects, the work shared between craftsmen and students has made the processing steps traceable and produced operational guidelines.
