Maiorino Hub

A custom-built platform for order management

Great-grandfather shoemaker, grandfather shoemaker, father shoemaker: for Max Maiorino, the art of shoemaking is a family affair. It could have been a pre-determined entrepreneurial story, but Max Maiorino chose to write his own version. With genius and perseverance, Max has transformed an ancient craft into a digital phenomenon, conquering social media and attracting thousands of customers. From his workshop in Saronno, Max has managed to combine artisan expertise with the opportunities offered by the digital world, becoming a point of reference for the repair of luxury shoes and bags and the creation of bespoke shoes.

To improve the customer experience and strengthen brand identity, consistency is needed across products, communications, and customer service. A digital platform can simplify order management and work planning for Maiorino.

The challenge

With the increase in repair volumes and the expansion of the product range, the time has come for Max to organize not only the warehouse in a more structured way, but also the handling of product processing and the planning and timing allocated to each activity.

“Maiorino Hub”, the project part of Artigiani 4.0, aims to redefine the positioning of the Maiorino brand, bringing order and consistency to its various activities: artisan repairs, handmade footwear production, sale of second-hand bags, and care products.

The main objectives are to implement a digital platform to simplify management and improve the customer experience and brand structure, organizing and communicating the various units in a clear and recognizable way, strengthening Maiorino's identity as a hub of excellence and craftsmanship.

The solution

The AI-based management system, tailor-made for Maiorino, interfaces with Maiorino's e-commerce platform to manage the processing stages of products, from sneakers to bags. The process is managed on a single platform, optimized for both desktop and mobile devices, allowing the shoemaker to view planning in real time and identify any delays.
The implementation of the digital platform simplifies management and improves the customer experience and brand structure, organizing and communicating the various units in a clear and recognizable way, strengthening Maiorino's identity as a hub of excellence and craftsmanship.
